"Navajo
Sun Quilt" In
Navajo mythology, the sun and moon have round faces with horns.
The moon is usually painted in dark colors and the sun is painted
white or yellow. In the Sun Series, the features of the faces
is constantly changing as are the fibers and color accents just
as the sun and its light changes from day to day and place to
place. © Margaret
