"Corn #4: Yellow"
This series is based on the many colors of Indian corn. Corn is a very important diet staple to many tribal groups in the Americas. In 1994, I made Rusty Maize quilt with four small ears of corn as part of the maze. Since then I had thought abut making some larged sized corn quilts. Other colors along with the blue are, Yellow Corn, Rust Corn and Red Corn. The ear of corn is human sized, almost six feet tall.       ©Margaret Wood 2001
