Part of the Classics Series, this dress was inspired by the hand-woven wool blanket dresses worn by Navajo women until the 1860's. The appliquéd design in the upper border is set so as not to interfere with any necklace you might wear. Cap sleeve, fully lined, back zipper, inseam pockets and fabric belt included.

The mosaic vests were inspired by the mosaic jewelry tradition of the Pueblo Indians. Modern Indian jewelry artists have begun to mix many kinds of semi-precious stones together in contemporary jewelry creations. That idea inspired the mixing of stone or jewel colors in the Mosaic Vests. All of the colors can be related to stones such as turquoise, coral, ivory, fossilized ivory (tan), lapis lazuli, sugilite (purple), malachite (green) and onyx. All of the fabrics have a sheen. Fabric content varies and includes silk, cotton, polyester and other synthetics. Fronts are quilted with a thin cotton batting. Cotton lining.
